Adam Riese is the new digital brand from W&W, a major German financial services provider called Wüstenrot & Württembergische. Their mission is to simplify and digitise your private liability insurance.
You can get covered the next day by just following the 3-minute online step-by-step tutorial while selecting your preferred plan. After one year, you can cancel the insurance any day, if you change your mind. The Adam Riese private liability insurance (Privathaftpflicht) covers the following (among others):
€5 million – €50 million
In order to book the insurance plan you need, just follow the instructions online. You need to provide who you want to insure (just yourself, or also your family), your age, your job situation, if you live in a rented apartment or if you own it, your ZIP code (PLZ), and how many liability cases you had in the past 5 years. You can then select your deductible and when you want the insurance to come into effect.
Adam Riese prices their plans on the basis of different factors. The prices below are based on a 35 year old single individual, who works and lives in a rented apartment. Their standard private liability insurance rate is 3,09€ per month, which amounts to €37,14 per year. This standard plan (XL) covers a maximum damage amount of €15 million and has a deductible of 150€ per liability case. According to your coverage selection and personal risk score, you will get different prices for your insurance offer.
You can decide how much of a deductible you would prefer, which affects the monthly fee for the insurance:
No Deductible (0.00€) – 4,01€/month | 48,81€/year
Deductible of 150€ – 3,09€/month | 37,14€/year
Deductible of 300€ – 2,56€/month | 30,70€/year
Deductible of 500€ – 2,18€/month | 26,17€/year
Deductible of 1000€ – 1,75€/month | 21,04€/year
You can also decide to choose a plan with a higher maximum damage coverage of €50 million or a lower one covering €5 million, which will affect your monthly fees as well.
