How to book your insurance

You can easily register for the HanseMerkur private liability online. Click on the orange button saying Online abschließen on their homepage. The process only takes a few minutes. You simply need to provide your marital status, who you want to insure, the sum insured, personal contribution, period of contract and personal information such as date of birth, address etc.

Pricing

HanseMerkur allows you to choose between different fees, depending on your marital status and what you want them to cover. For Singles, prices start at 3.55€ a month (Premium). The Exclusive option costs 4.48€ a month for Singles, the Top option 5.47€.

For families, the Premium option costs 4.63€ a month, the Exclusive 5.72€ and the Top 6.31€.

HanseMerkur offers a range of reductions and special prices, for example, if you book the private liability for 3 years, you will receive 5% off:

  • 5 % discount for a contract period of 3 years
  • 10 % discount from 55 years on
  • 10 % discount for a deductible of 150 Euro per property damag
  • 20 % discount for a deductible of 300 Euro per property damage
