How to get your personal loan – What to do
Your loan application on SMAVA – in 3 steps
You get relevant loan offers on your request in just 3 easy steps – without any costs or obligation. It is up to you to accept the loan offer.
- Your requested loan
Smava offers you a loan corresponding to the usage, the term and the amount of the loan.
While not necessary it could be of advantage to name an additional borrower, especially when a large amount of money is needed. Of course this additional borrower has to have a sufficient income, too.
- Personal data
Here you are requested to enter your personal data and your contact details. This is important to give you an individual offer. To evaluate your individual loan please give information on the number of members of the household; amount of income; amount of rent; monthly expenses and liabilities; employment relationship.
This information will be used only to verify your salary certificate. At no time your employer will be asked, contacted or informed. You are free to get a residual debt insurance; it is no obligation, just an extra offer. Finally name your bank account for your loan payment. With this you can prove your German bank account.
- Getting loan offers – concluding the loan contract
Directly after you have provided all required data you will get convenient loan offers. All offered loans are freely selectable straightaway.
The offered loans are sorted according annual percentage rate, monthly rate and borrowing rate.
Choose your favourite offer and enter „Online-Antrag“. In some circumstances a Smava-adviser will offer help (for free).
Your data will be used only for your credit application.
Which documents are required?
The bank standards demand for the most part:
- Gehaltsabrechnungen = payslip
- Kontoauszüge mit Gehaltseingang = bank statements showing job payments
- Kopie des Arbeitsvertrags (bei Angestellten) = copy of your employment contract
- Steuerbescheide = tax bills (in case you are not employed), to prove income (for self-employed people and others who can not prove their income with payslips)
